Unlike with previous years, where all year 2 children from Browick and Ashleigh have moved to Robert Kett Junior School, we are waiting for news of which children will join us in September as we become a Primary school. Instead of the usual five classes of year 3 children, we are planning to welcome three classes of Reception children and two classes of year 3 children.
Parents will soon find out which school their child will be attending from September. Once details are known we will be writing to invite parents to an initial transition meeting. For those parents whose children are joining us in Reception in September, the initial meeting will be on Wednesday 29th April at 9.00am. For those with children due to start in Year 3 the meeting will be on Wednesday 20th May at 9.00am. Both meetings will be for an initial welcome and sharing of plans and information, and will last for no longer than one hour. Further meetings will be held in June, where we can share more information about which class your child will be in and when you can purchase uniform.
We are of course also planning transition arrangements for our year 6 children, who will be moving on to their chosen secondary school in September.
Please help us with our School Improvement Planning by logging on to https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk so that we can ensure we include your views in the process, thank you.
